Normal shikara boat can accommodate up to 7 persons. Our bigger shikara boat can accommodate up to 40 persons. The same bigger boat includes toilet facility.
No, We are not providing food inside the boat but we can help you to have the tasty Kuttanadan and Kerala style dishes from the backwater nearby restaurants. There are some family toddy shops available for having great food.
Alleppey Shikara boating charges start from ₹800 per hour for up to 5 persons if you choose a minimum of 5 hours or more. If you choose to go for only 2 hours or 3 hours the shikara price will be different. On weekends and holidays, the prices will be starting ₹1000 per hour.
Shikara boat tours in Alleppey usually starts from 8:00 AM onwards and cruise upto 6:00 PM in the evening, sometimes it will go upto 6:30 PM depends upon the season. Sunrise cruises will start early morning 5;30 to 6:00 am in the morning,but you need to confirm the booking in advance.
